DESO by Love CosMedical is the next generation of injectable Deoxycholic Acid ‘fat dissolvers’. Intralipotherapy involves the injection of a fat dissolving substances to treat those difficult localised pockets of fat.
The active ingredient is Deoxycholic Acid which causes destruction of the fat cells which then undergo degradation, the fat is then removed naturally by the body’s lymphatic system.
DESO is indicated for the face, neck and body.
Body: Skin firmness is improved and reduced localised adiposity. Sodium deoxycholate (1,25%)
Face: Reduction of excess fluids and reduced localised adiposity. Sodium deoxycholate (0,5%)
What is Deoxycholic Acid?
Deoxycholic acid is a bile acid which emulsifies and solubilizes dietary fats in the intestine, and when injected subcutaneously, it disrupts the cell membranes in adipocytes and destroys fat cells in that tissue making it the perfect agent to remove stubborn pockets of fat such as under the chin, stomach, back rolls, flanks and around the knees.

Model Criteria*
You are welcome to be a Model on the day. Anyone with diabetes , immunity issues, obese, severe kidney disease and allergic to any of the ingredients, clotting disorders or abnormal menstruation will not be eligible for treatment.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment due to medical history or unsuitability.
Prerequisite: This course is open to Doctors, Nurses, Midwives, Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists, Pharmacists, Paramedics and ODPs: you must be a registered medical professional to attend our DESO training.
Training: DESO is not suitable for obese clients. The course is a full day and consists of a theory and a practical element. You are welcome to have a treatment on the day as a model*
