Carboxytherapy Training

By the age 30, oxygen levels in your skin drop by 25% and 50% by age 40. As we age, subcutaneous capillaries become dormant with decreasing cells of oxygen; this combined with environmental stresses and other variables, inhibits the ability of cells to regenerate and function properly and the skin slowly loses its elasticity and collagen.

Carboxytherapy is known as a 'green' treatment due to it's natural regenerative properties. It is one of the most exciting techniques available within aesthetics.

It offers amazing possibilities for hair restoration and skin conditions that were historically challenging to treat. Highly effective as a monotherapy or ideal to combine with other aesthetic modalities. It is a safe, minimally invasive and clinically proven method to rejuvenate, restore and regenerate the skin and improve hair loss.

This one day advanced course will teach you the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively treat face, body and hair/scalp including:

  • Hair loss

  • Dark circles/POH

  • Skin laxity

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Cellulite

  • Stretch marks

  • Scars

  • Adipose tissue reduction

Carboxytherapy employs micro injections to infuse gaseous carbon dioxide, a naturally occurring gas in the  body, into the subcutaneous or dermal tissue .

The body interprets this as an oxygen deficit and responds by increasing the blood flow, this provides a surge of oxygen and nutrients to the treated area and triggers a cell restoration response in the tissue. This stimulates fat cell and scar tissue breakdown.

With its effects on vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF), it stimulates neoangiogenesis and fibroblast synthesis, consequently leading to better wound healing and collagen production.
